As I put in my previous post (a while ago) I pulled my left hamstring doing squats and it has really been slowing me down. Whenever I feel like I've had enough time tending to it, I end up going back too hard and hurting it again so it's been a constant battle and I don't feel like I'll be where I need to be by the time pre-season comes around, but I hope I will be so I can help out the team as much as I can. I'm super excited to meet everyone on the team and get to know y'all!

another update
Hey guys,
Nobody has updated in a while, so I guess I'll just go again. I've been majorly slowed by a chest injury, which has effectively prevented me from running. But its OK because it is forcing me to re-evaluate, focusing on Who I am (or in my case, Who I should be) running for.
I hope all of your summers are going well. I eagerly anticipate seeing old and new faces at preseason in a few weeks.

Happy Canada Day
Hey guys,
Happy Canada Day. Sorry I haven't posted in a while. My training has been going OK for the past week and a half. Last week, I got in about 36 miles, but I'll end up getting less in this week. My training has been interrupted by injuries and food allergies. All I can say is don't overexert yourself (I hurt my pectoral muscle on a speed workout on Wed).
Meanwhile, it's hard to believe that I graduated from high school a year ago, even as I went to the grad parties of two of my friends who just finished their senior years. Time flies, so enjoy college while it lasts.
