Confessions of a Houghton Mayterming Freshman

Hey guys,

I'm currently in my second week of easy, short runs. Last week, it was 2-3 miles per day and this week its been about 3 miles per day. It was kind of annoying because I hadn't really trained (or stretched) since AMCs for track (Palm Sunday weekend), but I blame that partially on my sore foot (which was my fault because my running form is awful). Now, the running has been going pretty good and I'm starting to add in core workouts and bring my stretching up to where it should be.

I want to encourage you all to really put in some good training this summer, so we are prepared for the season in the fall. Also, more importantly, make time for your walk with God (and I'm talking to myself as much as I am to you all).

I'll be in Houghton for about another week, due to Mayterm. But after that, I won't be back until preseason.
