I just got home from ALASKA!!! So I had internet but I was lame and didn't post on this. I am a loser and will accept any insults Captain Stevie (and Captain Stevie alone) deems worthy to call me. Except for the Italian Stallion please.
Kyle I read about what happened and I have been and will continue to keep on praying for you and your family. My father passed away when I was younger and it is never easy to lose those people we love who are close to us.
So here is the confession on workouts.... Week 1 I only got four of the runs in. This was due to some mountain climbing and kayaking trips in Alaska that wore me and my IT ban out. Total for week I I ran about 14 miles which is like 6 short of Matty's goal for my life. So far this week I have been bad. Today was the first day I ran. IT ban has been acting up again and it isn't happy. Overall its at a better place than it was last year, but todays run aggravated it a lot. I'm hoping if I take some anti-inflammatory or something it will go down some.
Men this season I hope to see everyone grow together as a team. I hope that we all grow spiritually together. I urge all of you to keep up with your devotions over the summer. Personally being away from Houghton makes it harder for me to stay in the word. Usually I spend less time doing devo's during breaks. During break the opportunity to witness and share my faith greatly increases, but my personal faith tends to stay stagnate. I am hoping that that won't happen this summer. One of the things Stevie asked me to do was a weekly devo for our mens team. I'm no Biblical scholar or even a wise individual, but I hope that God will work through me to show all of us some new and exciting things! So yea. This is my life.
Scotty
Also I'm ticked I am not in that picture!!!!!!!!
